1) Except as noted below, we do not issue deposit refunds. For our refund policies to take effect, all cancellations or date changes must be received in writing, either by e-mail, fax or regular mail. We accept cancellations by telephone, however they must be followed up in writing. All cancellations and reservation changes must be emailed to reservas@cascada.net and not to employee email addresses. The following refund schedule will apply in all instances:
Cancellations
One day trips or shorter:
At time of reservation until two weeks prior to departure date: 10% of trip fee
One to two weeks prior to departure date: 20% of trip fee
72 hours or less prior to departure date: 100% of trip fee
Overnight trips:
At time of reservation until 90 days prior to departure date: 20% of trip fee
89 to 60 days prior to departure date: 30% of trip fee
59 to 30 days prior to departure date: 50% of trip fee
30 days or less prior to departure date: 100% of trip fee
Date Changes
a) If we receive your written notice of date changes on overnight trips with less than two week's notice, a 10% service fee will be applied to changes that require us to reschedule one or more reserved nights.
b) Date changes on overnight trips with less than 72 hours notice are not possible. In this instance you will be charged the full trip fee and there will be no refund.
2) All cancellation or change fees will be applied to your credit card or deducted from your deposit depending upon your method of payment.
3) If the above mentioned guidelines are followed, we will gladly issue any refunds due. Cascada de las Animas does not allow chargebacks to occur to its merchant accounts and contracts with VISA / MC International. We will use this document and customer's agreement at the time of reservation to wholeheartedly fight a chargeback and / or dispute. Cascada de las Animas will be the sole arbiter in the event of a dispute over cancellation refunds.
